Banquet Food Design is not one person. It is a diverse family of people bringing together their extraordinary skills, with the common desire to create amazing dishes and an experience that will be talked about by your friends, colleagues and families for years to come. All our staff are trusted by us and are professional, approachable and experienced.

Let us introduce ourselves…

  • Dave
    Founder, Head Chef

    A full-time food obsessed, professional food taster & creator; born out of a small town in Durham. His love for food was guided from a young age; spending weeks by the coast catching and cooking fresh fish over a campfire or foraging the woods with family to discover the best fruits on offer. Dave has combined his 10+ years as a food photographer and food stylist with his love for bringing people together and creating tasty dishes, to grow and nurture Banquet Food Design.

  • Tor
    Director 

    Tor has a strong background working in events and marketing, spending more than 5 years in the fast-paced offices of The Telegraph Newspaper. Tor is a logistical whizz and has a beady eye for detail. No one quite enjoys a detailed event sheet as much as she does! Your go-to-person to oversee all the finer details of your event and a friendly voice on the end of the phone.

  • George Dean
    Operations Manager

    George lives and breathes the hospitality industry. If ever there was a guy you’d want serving you, talking to you about food and wine, George is your man. He brings entertainment, fun and warmth to Banquet life.

    Having started this hospo journey up north in Cheshire working in country pubs, George quickly realised this industry was made for him and decided to move to London to explore what the city had to offer. He has since worked for the likes of Polpo, Caravan, JKS and large hotel groups. George realised the joy in casual excellence.

    George’s main hobby is enjoying a glass of wine (or four!) over a table with friends, family and Dave. His favourite quote is how a bottle of wine is only as quality as the person you have sat opposite you.

There is enough to plan already so it’s our job to ensure things run seamlessly! We’ve put together a list of questions we are commonly asked.   • We offer our catering services across South West London and Surrey. Our coverage includes popular locations such as Wimbledon, Richmond, Kingston, Epsom and Guildford, as well as surrounding areas. Whether you're in a busy London borough or a quieter Surrey village, we're committed to delivering high-quality service wherever you are. If you're unsure whether your area is included, feel free to get in touch - we're always happy to help and may be able to accommodate you even if you're outside our core locations.
  • Absolutely! We have experience working with clients with all kinds of reasons for seeking us out. Be it a corporate dinner for clients or staff, wedding related celebrations, PR and press events, product launches, charity events, you name it - we’ve catered for it. We’re here to make sure the menu compliments the style of event you are running. This also includes if guests will be seated or standing or both. We can run a menu with you that ensures the food is a pleasure (and easy!) to eat.

  • Of course! We have a menu we can share with you to get some initial ideas going and we’ll arrange a call with one of our chefs to discuss your menu in more detail.
  • Catering for an event can vary greatly depending on your guestlist, venue requirements, if there is a kitchen on site and staffing. However, through the planning process, we will discuss all the immediate requirements and give an estimated quote for your event from the offset so you have a good idea what to budget for.
  • Of course! We can tailor your menu to suit the needs of all dietary requirements you and your guests may have. This includes (not exclusively) vegan, vegetarian, nut free, pescetarian. If you can’t find an answer to your question then please contact us.
